Dierk Herbermann is Chief Operating Officer at Kentwood Real Estate in Denver, Colorado. Kentwood serves communities along the front range Denver metropolitan area to Fort Collins and northern Colorado and operates residential and commercial brokerage, leasing and property management, and a subsidiary mortgage company, Prosperity Home Mortgage. Kentwood Real Estate is an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway’s HomeServices of America.

Dierk’s vast experience leading real estate brokerages as General Manager and Counsel in the San Francisco Bay area and most recently in Denver for LIV Sotheby’s,  prior to joining Kentwood Real Estate, provide the growing executive team an opportunity to expand their focus on business development opportunities and strategy, while remaining solidly mindful of their highly successful brokers and brand. “I’m thrilled to be returning to a local brand with a Leading RE and Luxury Portfolio Connection,” says Dierk. “It’s where I feel most at home in brokerage, and where the customer is always best served.”

While in San Francisco, Dierk played a role on a collaborative management team at Paragon Real Estate Group in their becoming the #1 brokerage in San Francisco in 2017. A management team operated much like Kentwood’s. Prior to moving into real estate management, Dierk was a top sales agent.  An experience which today provides him the empathy to understand the day to day life of an agent/broker and has helped him successfully build offices and companies.

Dierk was raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is a huge Michigan football fan. He believes strongly in the virtues of “the team.” Dierk says, “Real estate is the ultimate team sport. I thrive on working with agents and managers to help them succeed. Bringing out their confidence and success drives me.”   He is an avid soccer player, skier and triathlete. Dierk is married to his wife Jennifer, who is also a leader in real estate, has three daughters, a stepdaughter and a stepson.

Dierk began his career as the sales, licensing and real estate counsel for Autodesk, Inc. in Marin county.  Dierk worked as general counsel and business development director for two software start-ups prior to starting his own practice focused on emerging companies.  Dierk graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a B.A. in History. He then earned his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law.  He speaks conversational German.
